If you are looking for help with soil erosion you have found a plant that is a soil stabilizer and great for slopes and streambanks. It is a summer blooming perennial that produces silvery, globular flowers on sturdy upright stems 2-3’ in height and spreads slowly by underground runners. You will have a clump-forming plant that blooms over a long period with silvery, white flowers that show up well above the green foliage from summer into fall. The fragrant foliage has an attractive red tinge in autumn and serves as a larval host plant for some Butterflies. If you plant along a perennial garden, or near vegetables they will entice pollinators.  Additional attributes are that this plant is Deer Resistant and is a good cut flower
