We are now in the 108th year of a family owned business operating as North Carolina's oldest licensed Nursery. It was orginally known as Highland's Nursery,
established by Mr. S.T. Kelsey who came to the Linville area from Highlands, N.C. After working with the Kelsey family for a number of years, E.C. Robbins
bought the Nursery and named it Gardens of The Blue Ridge.
Carrying on the tradition of E.C. Robbins and son Edward P. Robbins, we still continue to supply
quality wildflowers and native plants to our customers in the U.S. and around the world.
Robyn has worked in the business for a total of 18 years, learning every part of the business from his
grandfather, Paul and Katy, his parents, support him in his every effort to carry on the family tradition.
We are grateful for our loyal customers through the years and welcome you who are just becoming acquainted with
our company either through the catalog, by recommendation of our customers, or via the Internet.
We welcome the opportunity to supply you with mature quality plants and look forward to working with you.
