    New Web Pages

    New web page just added

    Wildflower Blooming Chart.

    Also just added this page:

    Complete Wildflower List On

    One Page With Links

Visit this page if you already know the name of the plant you are looking for and it will have a link you can click on and it will take you directly to that page. Great time saver so you do not have to browse through all of the web pages. We still have a few more links to add, hopefully will be finished soon.

    Weather update

Finally our weather is starting to cool down. We are now having nighttime lows in the low 50's to upper 40's with daytime highs in the 70's, great weather.

    Fall Shipping

Our Fall shipping also has begun. We are now starting to ship most of our bareroot plants as well as our potted plants. As you browse our website under each plant description it will give you the availability of each plant. Fall is a great time to plant, buy planting now, even know the plants are dormant and have no tops, they will put on new root growth and by Spring will be ready to thrive in your landscape. Also by ordering in the fall our supply is at its peak for most plants. For those of you who have not ordered our bareroot plants before and are wondering what you will be getting let us explain. Most of our bareroot plants root systems are larger than the ones you would get when you order a Quart Pot, they are more like a gallon size root systems and in many cases even larger. So it is like getting a large Gallon plant but at a greatly reduced price. Of courser their are some that are very small even at mature size, such as Erythronium, Dicentra's, Delphinium, Claytonia's, just to name a few. All bareroot plants come a plastic bag with a slightly moist mix of peat moss and composted pine bark so they will arrive fresh, you can also use this to mix in your soil when you plant them. And each bag is labeled with plant description and planting depth to help you when you are out planting them. So get your order in today and select your ship date and we will reserve your plants.
