Echinacea paradoxa - Yellow Coneflower
Native to the Ozark Mountains but does very well in many locations. Give it a dry sunny spot and it will make a beautiful show in your garden. Has bright yellow flowers that bloom in the summer, the petals are reflexed and narrow, a very unique looking bloom. Has a long tap root so it is best to leave it alone once estabilished. Very drought tolerant and it is great for attracting Butterflies.
